I am having gastric bypass roux y on Dec 29th. Can someone please advise me where I

This is an over the counter iron type suppliment and I think you can purchase it at Walmart. It is in pill form.....hope this helps........

You can find Ferrous Gluconate at any pharmacy in pill form and also liqued. Just ask the pharmaciest. Good luck with your surgery.

Ferrous Gluconate can be hard on the pouch & bowels (it constipates me), so if you find you are one of the ones who can't tolerate that formulation, check out Vitalady.com. Michelle is a fellow RNY patient herself and has her own supplement store. She also freely shares her vast knowledge & experience about vitamins with everyone here. I just ordered my iron from her and the dry form of vitamin A palmitate that isn't found in any of my local stores. All of her stuff is formulated for weight loss surgery patients. The pricing was better than other places on the type and amount of iron I got from her.
