Question:
Can Viagra be taken post op?

I am a member but I am too embarassed to ask without anonimity. I wanted to know if Viagra can be taken after RNY. I know it changes the physiology in that the blood in the body is redirected elsewhere (blush) and I wanted to know if it could be used.    — [Anonymous] (posted on July 12, 2000)

I think you'd be able to with your surgeon's consent. I mean, if you need it then you need it. I take pills every day and it is acceptable. Good luck.

post - op you might not need the "stud" pill. My Friend you have asked a valid question. Please do not be concerned with the ribbing. Our sexuality is a important factor in our social life too.
