Question:
MY STOMACH HAS A CONSTANT BURNING SENSATION AND TENDER TO TOUCH

I am having a constant burning pain in my stomach doesnt hurt more or less with eating or hunger. It is also tender to touch. Has anyone else experienced this? I am 5 weeks post op prox RNY. Seems to have started after I over ate yesterday but has not stopped. Do you think i stretched my stomach and that is why it hurts. Im calling the doc tomorrow and reporting but thought I would get others input. Thanks    — kcraig (posted on November 12, 2000)

I would definetely call the doctor first thing tommorow...I have never experienced this but it is possible you could have done something to the staple line depending on how much you over ate. Even if this is not the case you better get a hold of your doctor. Good luck.

Hi! Sounds like a hernia to me. The burning culd be the muscle. And it would hurt when you touch over it. Call your doctor. Don't play with your health. Good Luck and God Bless You --
