Does anyone know if Medicade will cover any of the surgery

In answer to your question,it is my understanding that Medicaid does pay.I
have Medicare(primary)AND Medicaid in Kentucky due to disability.You may
wish to find out if this is true in your case if you do not live in
Ky.Contact your local office or check your state's medicaid website.You may
wish to list your state so if there is a member in your state that has had
surgery under medicaid they would be able to help.Hope this gives you a
little insight.Good Luck.Additinally,sometimes the doctors list
insurance(s)that have paid for WLS,check the doctors in your area (on this
website).

Not sure what state you are in but here in Mississippi it pays 100% for the
surgery. I have medicare but know personally of a few people that medicaid
paid 100% for theirs.

It may depend on the state you are from. I'm from Upstate New York and have
Blue Choice Option which IS Medicaid and they covered it. I did'nt even get
a co pay.

cover WLS.....<b>100%</b>----YEAH!!
