Question:
only 5 months post op - doctor confirmed hernia around naval area. Hurts after i

excersice or at the end of the day. Have a surgery date scheduled to fix hernia and get my tt. Do you all think this is to soon for the tt? Or should I wait another year/year and a half for the hernia (till it hurts WAY more) and tt to be done then? The thing is I am not working now, my girls are in school all day long and we are transferring at the end of November. I will have to go to work one we have settled - prob around December. The timing now is so good to get the hernia/tt done. Please give me your thoughts and advise. I am already down 60 pounds and I don't have a hanging panni - JUST a huge 10 month pregnancy looking stomach. Thank you in advance and God Bless.    — Lisa J. (posted on August 22, 2002)

Congrat's on your weight loss. Sorry about the hernia, I know they can be painful .. My suggestion is to go ahead & get it fixed now along with the tummy tuck.. Especailly if the timing is convenient for you now... and also since you mentioned that after loosing 60 pounds you do not have alot of loose skin.. Best of luck..
