Question:
Has anyone had a panni and hysterectomy at the same time?

Did your insurance pay for both precedures? I need a hysterectomy and have lost 75 lbs. I wanted to find out if it is possible to have a panni done at the same time.    — Lisa A. (posted on July 7, 2003)

I had hernia repair and panni done at the same time, but it was done by the same surgeon. In your case, I don't know if it would require two different surgeons or if the insurance would pay for both. I'm still fighting the insurance company on my panni. They gave verbal approval to the surgeon and now are refusing to pay for it. They paid the hernia repairs and the hospital but are balking at the surgeon's fee for the panni. Good luck.
