I have researched the Fobi pouch for my own information. It is my
understanding that Dr. Fobi in CA is the only one who performs his
particular version of the gastric bypass. I am getting ready to have a
gastric bypass, and my surgeon has shown me the differences in the
procedure he will perform and Dr. Fobi's. They are very similar, but Dr.
Fobi's is slightly more radical. Hope this helps.
