THIS SURGERY WITH A LAPROSCOPE HAS NOT BEEN FDA APPROVED AS OF YET. IT IS PENDING APPROVAL BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG THAT WILL TAKE?

I've heard good things about him... but they all have to do with having the Lap Band (adjustable gastric banding). You can find out more by subscribing to Bandsters on www.onelist.com A lot of people on the list have said good things about him. With regards to the FDA not approving lap-RNY, that is not true. The FDA is currently conducting trials on the Adjustable Band... which is why if you have it done in the U.S., you are limited to the surgeons... and you have to agree to extensive follow up, etc.
