Question:
~How many appeals?~

Ok well I Just got my first denial letter two weeks ago, and have sent in my appeal letter, along with letters from my husband and best friend. Here is the problem, Another one of the girls that I have met on this site, also has John Alden health, and was denied the first time, and she sent out her appeal, and was denied on her appeal. So im assuming now that i probably will be in the same boat as she is. I would like to know how many appeals you can do, And when should I Just stop. Ive thought about getting the Attorney (walter) But really dont have the money at this time to do that. Should I just keep hounding the insurance, or is this a losing battle. Ive contacted my public officials and have heard NOTHING from them, and Called the dept of insurance, and the woman was so rude I could have spit fire *Laugh*.Anyway, If anyone has been down this road I would appreciate some advice, and some (Know How at this point). I Also recieved a URL link from another woman on here, and on this link it says its against the law for the insurance company to discriminate like this, and yet they are getting away with it...Someone Please help me figure out what to do...    — Ann A. Ann, Hang in there it took several months and a lot of phone calls for me to get the approval for my WLS. My surgeon was a huge help in the whole process. He fought for me to be allowed this opportunity for a better life. Also, letters my other doctors was the final push that I needed. I had many other conditions made worse by the excess weight. I hope this helps you! You are in my prayers.
