Is it best to go my primary first or find a surgeon? which one gets appr from insuran

hi well in my case i had to go to primary care phsician first she obtained a referral to see a surgeon i have bcbs so this was actually the way i had to do it if i wanted insurance to cover it both dotors will work together to obtain approval my surgeon faxed his letter to my doctor then my doctor faxed her letter along with his to the medical group to obtain approval for the surgery i think everything will have to go through your primary doctors office though also it helps if your primary doc is in favor of wls if he or she isnt get another doc good luck to you :)
