Question:
It is open enrollment at GM in Michigan..

My husband works for GM, but we are located in Kansas/Missouri. I had the surgery on 11/12 and we have BCBS through GM. However, I think that each state has different plans available to them, so the plan that we have may not be available in MI. Did they give you any information about the plans available since it's open enrollment? Email me and I'll be happy to try to help you. I am also a licensed insurance agent.

BCBS-PPO will pay for WLS as long as you meet their qualifications. That is what my mother has through GM and just got approved without any hassle.
