Question:
WHAT HOTEL CAN YOU RECOMMEND FOR ME? I AM AT CLOVIS HOSPITAL IN FRESNO CA.

WHAT DID YOU TAKE TO THE HOSPITAL? WHAT DID YOU HAVE AT THE HOTEL? WHAT DID YOU HAVE READY AT HOME AFTER SURGERY? WHAT HOTEL DID YOU STAY IN (THAT YOU RECOMMEND) IN FRESNO CA, NEAR CLOVIS HOSPITAL?    — Jeanne S. (posted on January 30, 2004)

Who is doing you surgery? My friend had hers there and her Dr. was Dr. Boone and I can get lots of info from her! when I had mine the hospital let my husband stay in the room with me. Don't take to much just some slippers, robe, and a change of clothes to wear home. I had my husband get plenty of Jello, soups, and crystel light. I whis you the best and if you want to email me if your Dr. is Dr. Boone my friend and I can email you back from work on Monday! [email protected] Best of Luck!

As far as what to have at home I'd say: *Protein Shakes (I like Myoplex Low Carb) Here's a website which is litterally 1/2 the price of GNC http://allstarhealth.com/detaildisplay.asp?ref=CiantDr&ProdID=315 *Washcloth size, foamy "baby wipes" (get them at a large drugstore or bring some home from the hospital.) *SF Koolaid (plain water hurt me) *SF Jello *SF Pudding *SF Hot Cocoa *SF Gum *Chicken Noodle Soup (drain noondles & drink broth) *Cream of celery, chicken, mushroom soups *A wire strainer to strain out any lumps *A blender for your shakes *A pill crusher (can buy pretty much anywhere) *Multi Vitamins (check w/ your doc) *Cream of Wheat or Cream of Rice *Babyfood fruits & veggies *A little book listing calories, sugar, carbs, etc. Don't bother taking much to the hsopital. They have those footies & our gowns were huge (you may want to inquire). You may want to take a brush, toothbrush & toothpaste. I just wore the same clothes home from the hospital that I arrived in. I was only in them for a couple of hours so they were still clean. Good luck!
