I had another type of surgery performed at Walter Reed Medical Center. They were excellent and I healed quickly. I had another surgery in a Civilian Hospital. It was the worse experience of my life. I had a wound infection. The doctors had to keep cutting away bad tissue and I had nurses at my home every day for 2 months. That was painful. If I had a choice I would have my WLS on a Military Base. Now retired and away from a military Hospital I am placing my confidence in our Community Hospital. (This is not the Hospital that caused all of my pain previously)(This time I thoroughly researched my surgeon via the web and Hospital Directory.)
