Question:
is there any help for spouses?

i know thishas probably been asked before, but is there info on this site for spouses fears about this surgery? my husband is my angel and is so supportive, but he is also very scared and doesnt want me to do this..help???    — joyce B. (posted on August 13, 2000)

I am the spouse, not cecilia. I found a good site on ossg for friends and family. I'm away from my home and am on aol web so I don't have my address book. Search for ossg - and you'll end up there. Good luck. Karen

I am the List Owner for ossg-fam_friendssupp at www.egroups.com This list is not very busy but it has alot of caring and concerned spouses and family/friends as well as post ops willing to answer you questions and sympathyze with your fears. I started this list for my fam/friends when I announce my WLS decision 1 year ago. My mother is Valerie on this list and would be willing to discuss things with you online (from a support prospective) as well as through email. I hope it can be as much help to you.
