Question:
Can anyone help me with getting kaiser to work faster?

Kaiser is dragging this out really bad can anyone give me any idea on how to get them to work faster. Three doctors already said i should have this done but they said i need a special sleep test. and i can't get them to get me an appt. for three to four months away. I had Kaiser insurance and it took me 19 months to finally have the surgery. They don't work faster. I wrote letters to customer service and they have to investigate any complaints. Sorry to say, but that didn't help either. Wish I could tell you Kaiser will move faster if you complain, but my sense is they don't. It does help to vent your frustration, so give it a go. Hello, I also have Kaiser, there is good new on how to get your sleep study done faster. Try to be very flexiable and call the sleep center nurse and talk to her. Kaiser gave me an appointment six months away. So I called the nurse everyday to see if there were any cancellations. After 2 weeks of calling daily good news there was a cancellation and I only had 2 hours to get a sitter for the children. I went for my sleep study that night. So just keep calling and be real nice I even told them how desperate I was. It worked. If you are in So.CA. E-mail me I may be able to give you a number to help out. I know the process is long but it's worth it. I started asking my pcp for the surgery in Oct. of 99 I had the surrgery Sept. 00. But after 102 pounds lost so far I thank God everyday for kasier.
