Question:
is it normal too feel pain in center of of chest in between breast bone

Have you had you gallbladder removed? It sounds a little like the pain I had when I had gall stones.

I'm thinking the same thing as the previous poster that it may be your gallbladder. In my case the pain was intermitant and was right where the rib bones "V" off. If that makes sence. By the way, my gallbladder will be coming out on Friday.

I had pain in the same spot that was like a spasming. My doc said it was normal. I had to have my ribs spread a bit, and the spasming was from that. It lessened as time went by, and was gone by 3 weeks postop. Whenever you have pain that you are concerned about, you should ALWAYS call your surgeon--that is what you pay them for! Good luck!
