Question:
LAPBAND FEEDBACK!!! Anyone had this procedure?

I am considering having the Lapband procedure. It has been performed in Europe, etc. for several years on thousands of patient with positive results. I have 100 - 120 pounds to lose. I'd appreciate feedback...not much info available on this site. Have you or anyone you know had the Lapband procedure? Was it successful? Thank you    — Susan P. (posted on July 19, 2002)

I had the lap band in March. I am down -42 lbs and started with a bmi of 40. I have had no problems and all has been great - I love it. What a great feeling to be full with 5-6 bites, never thought that would happen to me!! Check out Bandsters at Yahoo groups, they are all very helpful.
