Question:
Has anyone had a revision and had FirstCare Federal??

Has anyone out there had a revision from a VBG to an RNY and their insurance paid for the first surgery and the revision?? Any advice/help will be greatly appreciated. Just trying to get prepared in case my insurance says "no we have already paid for this surgery once before" Thanks!    — blacker24 (posted on September 2, 2003)

I do the approvals for my dr. I know any revisions that have been sent to BCBS FEP for approval were approved. All that has to be done is have the dr send a letter of medical necc. and the operative report rom your original surgery. You should have no problem! Good Luck
