Question:
Anyone else have muscular pain in upper back and throat upon swallowing?

I am 4.5 months post op and have been doing wonderfully. However yesterday afternoon I began to have what I thought was a good ole neck ache. By the time I went home from work it had started to affect my swallowing. Everytime I swallow (food or saliva) I feel the same back ache and a definite pain in my esophagus, it is like the pain builds and then goes away after a few seconds until I swallow again. I am going into my doctor tomorrow due to a possible hernia so am planning on asking him about it then but am wondering if anyone else has had this at all. Thanks    — Cindy M.
