Question:
Aetna - Has anyone been turned down by Aetna PPO for TT ?

Dr.Wongsa in Houston,Tx. is my WLS surgon and now it's time for this HUGE Apron to come off and I'm worried that Aetna well turn down our request.Dr.Wongsa well also be doing this operation,so please if you were turned down did you appeal?    — jill Q. (posted on March 18, 2001)

Hi Jill! I'm also a patient of Dr. Wongsa's, but I'm pre-op. I have Aetna HMO and have looked this up on their website. It says they will cover it if it hangs below the "pubis" and I think it has to cause recurring rashes or infections. I hope this helps!
