Can anyone give me information about Dr. Rout in Gainesville FL?

I have not had surgery with him, but I was reccomended to him by Dr. Hocking.GReat DR./great rep. I was looking into going to DR. Hocking, but he was no longer taking any "new" patients at the time. I called his office and I did get app, but it was for in Jan 2002. (this is has been about 3 months ago) The office staff I spoke to seemed nice, and Shands has a excellent rep. I, however, am going to another surgeon, (who has a good rep also) because I was able to get in sooner. MY date for surgery is Sept. 14th. 2001. I wish you luck, and if you have the oppurtunity to go to Shands, that is great, just hope you don't have to long of a wait!
