Question:
Does anyone know a surgeon in the north texas area that accepts cigna hmo

the only surgeon that i can find does not take patients until may 2003. i really do not want to wait until may just for a consultation.    — farrah B. (posted on December 19, 2002)

Hi there, I am not sure but you can try Dr. Dirk Rodriguez. I know that he takes some Cigna, not sure about the HMO, but probably. I live in Fort Worth but he is in Palestine, TX. Takes me about 2 1/2 to 3 hours to get there. The surgeons in the Dallas Fort Worth area had a year long waiting list. He did my Lap RNY on 10/25/02. Good luck!

I have Cigna PPO and had my surgery with Dr. Warnock in Wichita Falls. I know many Dallasites who come out here b/c Dr. W. is such an incredible Doc. He isn't taking any appointments until after the first of the year, but his office might still be open to schedule stuff. He is currently with the Clinics of North Texas on Midwestern Parkway, but his office will be moving effective January 2nd. Hope this helps. he was my doc and I think the world of him.
