Trying to find surgeon whom performs LAP RNY in MICHIGAN, the Detroit area.

Why? What is the big deal about having an open RNY? I have been asked more times than not if my surgeon does Lap RNY. I was to the point both mentally and physically that I did not care if they cut me from my nose to my toes, just so I would have a fair chance at living a healthy life, by taking off the weight! I find that the scar I have on my stomach is far more appealing than the scars I suffered mentally due to being overweight all of my adult life. The Laproscopic RNY has yet to be approved by the FDA. I say, be safe. If they offer Open RNY, take it!

call these doctors; Bariatric Specialists of Michigan 800-282-0066 they have been doing this for 20 years and you live on top of them. We are lucky to be so close. We have friends that came from California to have them do it.They even do all the work for you. I have to pay 400 out of pocket not bad. I was thinking more like 30,000 so now my wife gets a new car for saving so much. Steve
