Negative history about my doctor?

I have heard some bad things about the surgeon I have chosen. please help. His name is Dr. Michael Butler. He was in the Orlando/ Altamonte Springs area, of Florida. I am trying to research this. What exactly did he do. He is now in St.Petersburg. Thanks, Sue    — Sue M. (posted on March 25, 2000)

Sue, I went to http://www.asbs.org/html/member/fl.html and found your doctor's name still on the list of bariatric surgeons with the American Society of Bariatric Surgeons. However, his location is listed differently than ST. Pete. So, it may be a different Michael Butler. Check and see. Also follow Ava's advice. You need to know the full story if anything is going on with his license, practice, etc.
