Any tips for how to get approved without delays for this surgery. BC/BS of FL PPO

Barbara, I have BC/BS of Illinois PPO and the best thing my surgeon's office suggested was to get all of my medical records together and bring them to my first consult. Those records were submitted along with the surgeon's report to the insurance company. I included ALL my records from my OB (he had the most complete record of my weight from year to year), my PCP, who had out me on a variety of diet suggestions, and my Optifast records. All of this stopped the insurance company from asking for more info since I included it all. I was approved in 2 weeks! Good Luck!
