Does anyone know if Dr. Mark A. Shina in Jeffersonville, IN does the RNY lap
Just curious, Does Dr. Mark Shina Jeffersonville, IN/ Louisville, KY do the RNY lap? Do you know if he does the Duodenal switch? — Terri A. (posted on September 8, 2001)

I just called his office this week and was informed that no he didn't..
There appears to be a very limited amount of surgeons in the state of
Indiana that do offer that option. Only one that I know of in the St.
Vincent's group in Carmel.

Dr. Shina does only does the open RNY. The only surgeon I've found in the
Louisville metro area that does a lap procedure is Dr. Jeffery Allen. I do
not know much more about him than that, but I have a consultation scheduled
with him 9/21/01.
