Question:
Looking for a Surgeon who will accecpt Medical in Central California

I researced and found several wonderful Dr's with great records only to be told they do not accecpt Medical. I have heard of several people obtaining this WLS using medical but I can't seem to find the Drs. This process is worse than the HMO hoops I was told to jump through prior to losing my job and insurance. Any information would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.    — Cindy L. (posted on August 1, 2004)

YOU MAY HAVE TO SELECT AN INSURANCE THROUGH MEDI-CAL SUCH AS HEALTHNET, THEN SELECT A MEDICAL GROUP. THEN THE MEDICAL GROUP WILL REFER YOU TO A SURGEON IN THEIR GROUP. HTH--ANGELA IN CALI
