Question:
Anyone know where I can order a really good pill crusher?

I bought one from my local pharmacy, and it is a flimsy plastic thing that doesn't work. I need one to take my calcium pills. They are HUGE, and even when I cut them, they feel "sharp" and scratch all the way down. Anyone know of an online store I could order a good quality one from? Thanks!!    — Susan S. I haven't ordered it yet but I know that Michelle sells one at her Vitalady site. It isn't very expensive but I figure if anyone knows what daily stuff one is going to have to hold up for it would be her. Check it out.

Hi, I was just checking out this website yesterday for the same thing. Here's the URL for the pill crusher and splitter: http://www.comforthouse.com/comfort/pilcrusandsp.html They also have tons of other good stuff at this online store. It looks pretty good, but I haven't ordered it yet. Good luck! Hugs, Joy

Susan, I don't know how good a quality mine is, but I got a pill crusher/pill splitter at K-mart for $5.00. I haven't used it yet because I'm pre-op, but it's made of a hard plastic. It also has a little storage area for a few pills, and part of it doubles as a drinking cup. So it has 4 uses in one. For 5 bucks! I didn't think that was too bad. It's around the hygiene section and it is by "Acu-Med". There is also a website on the back of the box, "http://www.healthenterprises.com" but I'm not sure if that website will have the product. Good luck! Laura P

FYI: I just checked out healthenterprises.com, and the page is under contruction and it sends you immediately to their acu-life page for products to get rid of LICE! Oh well, I guess I should have checked before writing it down. Hope you find one though!

I got one at Wal-Mart for less than $5, and it works great. It's just a cup with an inverted screw-on lid like thing that curshes the pill(s) as you screw the lid on. For some of the harder ones it takes a few tries, but I end up with a fine powder when I'm all done. Works great!
