Question:
my BMI is 51 does anyone know of a wls friendly doctor in the fontana so cal area

You said Southern California ? Kaiser ? is it a Kaiser Doctor who is your PCP If so he needs to refer you to the Bariatrics department at Kaiser with a BMI of 51 you will qualify but the waiting list is a long one at Kaiser... Check into Docs in your area on this site and also Peer sites good luck and yes this operation will change your life for the better Kathy

Hi I am in Riverside and I go to Corona Family Care in Corona which is just off of the 25 fwy at Magnolia...my BMI is at 42 and my PCP referred me in a hot second...My surgeon is Dr. Terry Sanderfer in Corona. Great surgeon..i have 2 friends that are over 5 yrs post op and no complications and my friend Natalie Gonzalez is having her surgery tomorrow 4/27/01....she really feels comfortable with him also..hopefully my surgery will be in about 60 days... e mail me if you have any other questions...happy to help.

Hi Pat, I go to Fontana Kaiser, I had surgery last Sept. Dr. Micheal Lee refered me after 6 months of convincing him this is what I need. Hang in there. From, Christine
