Question:
Info on extra costs if you are from out of country?

I'm from canada, but have been accepted for surgery, by dr. ross fox in tacoma washington. I know my medical will cover most of the surgery cost, but one man told me he had extra/personal fees. If anyone has any info at all that you can share with me,i would be eternally grateful. I don't want to be caught by surprise, and have someone from his office say oh bye the way.........you owe$$$$$$$$ for this and this and this. also if anyone has had dr. fox, and would like to share info with me you can e mail me at [email protected]    — Carol H. Hi Carol, I too am going out of country for my surgery. I was told that extras not covered are things like telephone calls, magazines or books, room and food for who ever is coming with me (my wonderful hubby)and their transportation costs. Also some hospitals still charge for a TV in your room or the don't turn it on. Hope this helps. Good luck with your surgery. Helen C
