Question:
How is liquid prozac tolerated after surgery?

My surgeon had me switch to liquid or chewable forms of all medications before surgery. The liquid prozac is awful, it gags me and I haven't even had surgery yet. Has anyone else had this problem? Are you able to keep this stuff down post op? Has anyone tried dissolving the pills instead?    — lori T. (posted on October 13, 2001)

I was on Prozac and tried a B-12 suppliment that let me finally get off the Prozac all together. Check it out.

After awhile, you will be able to swallow the Prozac pill. I also took the awful liquid.

I have just opened the prozac capsule and mixed it with sugar free chocolate pudding. I eat teh pudding, then wait 15 minutes and have a glass of crystal lite. No bad taste at all, and no stomach complaints.
