Question:
Does anyone have BC/BS o f IL PPO (BlueAdvantage-Entrepreneur)?

I have insurance through my husband's employer and they recently switched from BC/BS of IL CPO to BC/BS of IL PPO (BlueAdvantage-Entrepreneur). Has anyone used this insurance? I read the exclusions and it doesn't say anything about excluding weight loss surgery and when I call to talk to a BC/BS rep they tell me its covered as long as its medically necessary. I have BSBC Epire PPO of IL and had no problem getting approved. I had WLS at Univ of Chicago in 9/01. Still sorting through all the bills. Hope this helps.

I just heard from blue cross blue shield blue advantage entripernuer They just denied me, I don't know how or why they can. I have high blood pressure, degenerative back disease, high cholesterol, bad knees. I am waiting for the letter to tell me why. they wouldn't even tell me why
