I might have something you can use if you email me privately. It's just to get you healthy and maybe drop a few lbs just before surgery. [email protected]

I drank protein shakes, and other liquids. I also used milk of magnesia to clear out the bowels, and i dropped 25 lbs before surgery.

Kimberly, my surgeon uses a lean meat and green leafy vegetable program for us to lose before surgery. I needed to lose 5 lbs in a month and I lost 16, went on to lose 21 lbs up to surgery diet. It includes these meats broiled, boiled, baked or grilled: beef, turkey, chicken, shrimp, crabs and the following vegetables: lettuce, cucumber, spinach, mustard greens, brussel sprouts, squash, broccoli and cauliflower. I had to also get off of all caffiene. Hope this helps. Dana

Look up The Idiot Proof Diet through a search engine. I haven't tried it yet but am about to. Email me and let me know what you think of it & maybe we can share info. [email protected] There is a half off subscription/access fee right now of $27...I've checked out some message boards about this diet for fast weight loss and everything I've found was positive.

I have lost 10 1bs in just about 2 weeks doing Protein 80%, carbs 20% ...very little or no diet sodas either! My psychologist just suggested a few things to help with the 80% - 20% plan. If you'd like email me and I can explain further.... This is also going to help so much for post-op!!

Hi Kimberly, If you need to lose weight before surgery you could drink 3-4 cans of slim fast a day. Drink all the water and calorie free beverages you want. Hope this helps. Mona
