This could be your sciatic nerve (sp?) That is a nerve that runs from your back down your bottom and to your leg. When it hurts, it seems to hurt everywhere. I wasn't really sure if it was my bottom, or my lower back or my leg that hurt, they all just kinda did. Sometimes a sharp pain, sometimes a dull pain. My Dr. said that this is very common. You should call your Dr. and see what they think.

I too am four months post-op and suffer from this pain about once a week on a fairly regular basis. I thought that maybe I was having it because the rapid weight loss had shifted my center of gravity. I am hoping it will ease up in time as my muscles and ligaments adjust to the changes. If it doesn't, I plan to see my physician. Hope this helps.

This could be gallbladder pain too. If you still have your gallbladder, rapid weight loss usually causes gall stone development. Mention this to your doctor and get it checked out.
