Question:
Has anyone here had their WLS at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio?

I was thinking of having my surgery done at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio and was wondering if any of you fine people has had your surgery there? If so please let me know how it went and you would do it again if given a choice and how long did it take to get an appointment and how long for you to have the surgery after your first appointment. I am not familiar with the Cleveland Clinic, but I am scheduled to have an open RYN in Aujust at St. Vincent's in Cleveland with Dr. Schreiber. Do you have to go with the Clinic?

The surgeon that does the surgery at Cleveland Clinic is named Dr. Fred Brody. He does it laparoscopically. He is not a bariatric surgeon. They don't advertise this service, rather, you have to kind of look for it. I went to clevelandclinic.org and searched under Minimally Invasive Surgery and found it. There is a woman on this site in the profile named Beth who just had her surgery there a couple months ago. I email her almost daily, she is doing well. Good luck!
