Question:
Any tips as to how to lose the last 15?

I am a little over a year out, and have about 10-15 pounds to get to goal. Am doing the exercise, the water, protein, etc. Wanted to see if any of you had considered just doing liquids for a whie, to see if it helped? Thanks Donna in AL    — Donna S. C. (posted on March 19, 2002)

Donna, I don't have the answer but wanted to offer a me too on this one. I'm also a little over a year out and 10-15 pounds from goal. Of course, I'm sure we'll both be happy if we don't get those last few pounds off, but it sure would be nice. I'll keep my fingers crossed for both of us.

Hi Donna! I finally reached my bottom goal (YIPEE!). It took me a while to lose the last 15, too. I upped my protein to 100 grams a day and started eating a protein bar as my mid-morning meal. That helped with my sweets cravings. I tried to bump back down the amount of carbs I was eating because for a couple months I was eating way too many. Oh, and I did increase my water. I know you said you are doing the protien and water thing but I don't know how much protien you do. I know that some people say 50 grams, some 100 or more. 100 seemed to be the magic number for me. I had considered doing liquids to jump start things but I hated the liquid diet so much that I only made it 1/2 day. LOL Good luck!
