I have a PPO so if my surgeon is in my network will I still have to have a letter

I too have an HMO and did not have to see a PCP before making an appointment with my surgeon. I think HMO's (and maybe POS) are the only types that require a written referral from your PCP.

Sorry, that should read, "I too have a PPO". Guess I think faster than I type:)
