Question:
Was wondering if anyone out there has had to deal with Illinois Public Aide?

How did you get approval and did you find a doctor willing to take this? I am at a loss here. Nobody wants to take a public aide person or they treat me like I have the plaque when we get to that insurance question. Any advice???    — pj_wy (posted on March 17, 2003)

There are surgeons in my area that do take medicaid. Are you in Central Illinois? There are a number of post ops that have gone to these surgeons and medicaid approved them quickly.

I am on medicaid and i am going to The University of Chicago Hospitals, they have a great program and a wonderful staff. Try dr. Prachand or Dr ALverdy forums for more info.
