Question:
I don't know where to go next!

I have obtained cerification for the surgery from my ins.my doctor wrote the letter for me to the ins.NOW I need to find a doctor in southern Ill.or Missouri,INdiana or surrounding areas.If you know of a dr.that dosen't have a long waiting period to wait because my ins. has a time limit for my coverage.    — Keitha B. Why not ask your PCP for a referral? Once you get a few names, contact them and ask about the wait. If you already have insurance approval, the wait shouldn't be too long.

I would suggest a find a doc search on this site, using the state maps. Usually, the listing will tell you what insurance they have accepted, as well as, reviews posted by their patients.

I think Dr. Gomez in Indianapolis can get you in pretty quick if you are already approved. He is wonderful. Good Luck!

Hi there...Winona Hospital in Indianapolis (Winlife program www.winlife.com) can get you in pretty quick. I went in January to have my psych eval and all, had pre-ops in mid-Feb and could have had surgery 1st of March but had it 18th due to family being out of town! Good luck in where you go.

I know that you are looking in southern ill. But May I suggest Dr. Daniel Deziel in chicago. He is listed on this site. It only took me one month from my appt with my PCP till I had surgery. (and I am a lightweight)
