Question:
I need a good physician for my own RNY surgical processing.PCP!

As I am new in Arlington, Texas area, I do not have a physician and I need one, as it is requested for my processing my request for RNY weight loss surgery. I have had my interview at the BTC in Dallas, Texas. I am now processing my insurance which needs my physician. I need the name of a good one and one who believes and knows and understands my needs, too, for this surgical weight loss.    — Carol A. (posted on July 5, 2002)

I had my surgery 6/4/02 with Dr. Todd McCarty in Dallas at Baylor. I would recommend him in an instant. Their program is bar none. I originally started out with BTC but frankly I was disappointed with how they handled me and am so glad that I switched doctors. I'm not sure what kind of insurance you have. You may wanna call the surgeons office and ask them to recommend a PCP. My PCP is Dr. Kevin Page in Grapevine--he's an internal doctor. Hopefully that helps!
