Question:
Need to hear from TriWest Standard recently approved patients

I've heard that just over the last few months, Tricare has cracked down on approving WLS. I would love to hear from anyone who has TriWest Standard and has been approved for WLS in the last 4 months or so. Also if you could give me your bmi and comorbs, that would be helpful. Hello, I have tricare Prime and am stationed in Utah and I just got approved it took tricare only hours to approve me.. my comorbs were arthritis and just regular aches and pains...Like I said I have Prime I am not sure about Standard.. Good Luck,

I also have Tri-Care Prime and was approved within 5 days. I had no co-morbids but my family history is horrible. Good luck!

I have Tricare Prime so I am not sure about Standard but I was approved within 24 hours of the request. They have been really easy to work with.
