Question:
Pain!

Hi I just posted a question earlier, but I have another, I am now 6 mths post -op and I have been having some pain in my stomach. I went ot the ER last week because it got so bad I couldn't even wlk hardly, they took some x rays and bllod work plus checked my gallbladder and everything turned out fine, but I was running a fever adn my white blood count was alittle elevated. I went to see my doc last week to and see him again this week! I am still having these pains in my stomach adn it just aches and aches to where I don't even want to eat or drink, I thought I just had a virus or something but I am not throwing up adn it has been over a week now and still hurting! What do you guys think this could possibly be, it just feel slike my stomach is tied up in a knot! I want this to go away and I am scared it won't! Thanks so much for your guys input it helps, especially since I believe no one else seems to be getting to the source of the problem, I'm tired of going to the ER! Thanks Again!    — Melodee S. call your doctor imediately , you need a cat scan with the dye. you have an affection do not take it litely. insist. fever and white blood count is an affection. it will not go away on its own trust me. i had pnemonia for 4 months after surgery i know all about the white blood count and fever.. if you must get to the hospital where your doctor is so he can see you there. as far as what it could be , it can be anything and its all serious when it comes to this operation

Could it possibly be an ulcer? People who have had the RNY can get ulcers. Might want to ask your doc about it. Good luck.

Make sure you have the docs check you for a ruptured ovarian cyst. Those thing hurt like heck and I always run a fever and have a high white count with them.

I have been having this exact pain...it has been about 2 weeks for me. Today I had an abdominal ultrasound and everything came back ok???? I know something is wrong!!! Please let me know.....thanks!
