Question:
pain on right side above waist any ideas?
I had Lapband 11-13-03 and have done fine. (-26lbs.) I started having pain in my right side above the waist (1/2 way between the navel and side) 4 days ago. I had my gallbladder removed in 95 so that isn't the problem. It isn't in the area of the port ( the port is 5" higher and to the center) Any ideas? Thanks Mary. — mary K. Could be kidney stones, have it checked right away! I hope not...been
there - done that - rather have anything else but those :( Good luck!

Hi,I had lap RNY 110803 and started having the same problems with pain mid
line to right side. I had gallbladder rmvd 11 yrs ago. Had the scope and
no ulcer found. My gastro doc said that it could be a stone that has
formed in the duct. Oh great! Anyway, I just had another big attack last
Friday and he ordered new liver studies while I was having the attack.
Next step is an ultra sound to check things out. Not fun.
