Question:
Anyone have any experiences with the MCV program at VCU in Richmond, VA?

Why go all the way to Richmond? There is a doctor in Winchester, VA who performs WLS. His name is Dr. Anez. Also, there is a question posted by another WLS member in the Winchester area who had surgery in Richmond. Maybe she can help you. You can find her in the "Library" under "Emotional Issues" with a question posted regarding a support group for the Northern Virginia area. I hope this helps. Good luck.

Dr. DeMaria performed my LAP RNY on 10/25/99. I have nothing but good things to say about him and his staff. Very professional and extremlt helpful. Two others friends of mine have also had the surgery done by Dr DeMaria. Regading MCV the care was standard however I would suggest that you request a private room.
