Didn't the gastric band work for you? Be very careful. A revision surgery is different from a virgin RNY. Does the doctor who did your band do RNY's? Make sure you interview surgeons and ask them specifically what is their success rate on revisions.

my husband had a revision, and it turned out to be the month from hell for him and for me. make sure that they give you all the test ex: edoscopy to see what is going on in your belly. please be very careful, and good luck

Dr. Leslie Murr in Tampa at Tampa General has experience with revisions. He did my mother, who is 63 going on 64, and has many health problems. She did very well.--JM
