Question:
What is my next step?

I spoke to the doctor that I choose to preform my surgery. I was told today that there is a hold on surgeries because of an research from Pinacle Health. The do not know how long of a wait. Do I switch doctors, wait I am at a loss    — Fawn C. (posted on August 16, 2001)

What is pinacle health? Perhaps its good to read this research. Try asking more questions to the Dr and yeah if you want try to find someone else.

You may want to look into the program at Hershey Med. Dr. DiMarco is an excellent Dr., but if they can't tell you how long until you can have surgery, you may want to look at your alternatives. I had surgery at Hershey in april and I think they have a great program. If you have any specific questions, feel free to email me.

I would agree with the previous poster to check out the program at Hershey. I live in Harrisburg, but had the surgery at HMC with Dr. Cooney. I don't know about the system in Harrisburg, but they have a really awesome support system at Hershey. Although you would be required to start the process over, the 3 to 5 months to get your surgery ready and scheduled is probably less than you would wait for any bureaucratic changes at Pinnacle.
