Question:
What is the average cost of supplements, post op?

If you add in the multi-vitamins, calcium, B-12 and protein powders, how much would you say you spend a month on supplements? It is a cost that has to be considered forever, not like a car payment that will go away in 4 years :)    — Lily C. (posted on June 26, 2002)

This is a very interesting question!!! I am over years post-op and I say I spend about $60 for protein drink alone a month. for my b12 I pay 12.00 every three months for my vitamin c,e,k,a&d,calcium I pay about $50 every two months. My centrium I pay about $15 every three months. I hope this answer your question.

Who cares, its a lot less than FOOD, plus all meds and supplements are tax-deductible. Take that to the bank! Good Luck!

Very good question since I am one week away from surgery and trying to figure out which vitamins, protein shake, etc. One thing to remember is the savings you will have from not eating fast food and full meal restaurant bills. Good luck.
