Question:
wine gum-type multivitamins?

I cannot seem to take multivitamin tablets without blocking up the plumbing. And the chewable multivitamins I have found, like Flintstones Rugrats et al, have a grainy texture that, after a time, make me want to throw up. When I was in the UK last month I found chewable cherry-flavored multivitamin that was the consistancy of wine gums -- a chewy licorice-like candy. I have seen Vitamin Gum Balls at GNC.

I take a multivitamin from GNC that is a powder inside of a capsule and they work great. I tried taking gummy bear vitamins, and I don't think they absorbed at all because after about 2 months I began having all types of vitamin deficiency symptoms. I switched back to the capsules, and all the symptoms went away.

I think you may be referring to bassetts jelly babies soft & chewy vitamins and so far as I can tell, they are only available in the UK. You could do a google search and try seeing if any of the UK companies will ship to the US. Good luck!
