Question:
Does anyone know of insurance you can purchase that covers obesity?

I have been approved since september, and just recently found out that my ins comp Optima is dropping this benefit as of 01/01/02. I am scheduled for surg 02/20/02. Now I can't seem to find a surgeon to fit me in between now and the end of the year. I need all the help I can get, very upset right now I feel a lifetime of pain rushing in on me.    — kim M. Go to the surgeon find part of this site.Or research Dr. Fallang on the internet. He has his own site. Get the number, call him. Tell him you will do anything to beable to get into have the surgery. Tell them your situation and tell them you are willing to be at a moments notice for a cancellation or if he is able to fit another surgery into his schedule. He is in Ohio. Not far from you, I don't think. You will be in the hospital for 2 maybe 3 days and then be ready to go home. He is a very good surgeon. He is arrogant - but I think most surgeons are very proud of themselves. Give him a try. He is exellent. And his staff does everything they can to make sure you get this procedure that you need.
