Question:
Does BTC make there pouch bigger or smaller than most hospitals??

I can't really say for sure how big the pouch is, but I had my surgery done at BTC in Ohio also in October of last year, the day I came home I weighed 271 and today I weigh 203, almost out of the 2's!!!! They are a fabulous facility. I traveled from WV just to get to them. I wanted to know I had specialist on my side. Good luck and god bless.

I went to BTC/Michigan, and my surgeon told me our pouches are the size of a golf ball. Hope that helps!

I had my surgery at BTC in Wylie, TX. I don't know how small my pouch is, but was told it is the size of my thumb. I know I fill up VERY fast! Tomorrow will be 5 months & I have lost 79 pounds :) As for BTC itself, I wouldn't trade my experience with them for anything, they have been wonderful!
